History runs deep in the Gellatly Agency. Founded by John A. Gellatly in 1900, many of our current ideals come from his original philosophy: total commitment to customers & clients. Now into our fourth generation of family ownership, the current owners are Marc Heminger (married to Karen Gellatly), who joined the agency in 1975, and Marvin Gellatly (Bruce Gellatly's son, John A.'s great-grandson, Marc's brother-in-law), who joined the agency in 1979...and so the commitment continues.

Originally the agency dealt in insurance, loans and real estate transactions. The agency now is principally engaged in the sale of property/casualty insurance and bonds.
